Since 2017 Little Café on Churchill has been doing a smashing job servicing the people of Ovingham, north of Adelaide, with amazing food and delectable coffee. Owners Ashley and Jake take great care to treat each and every one of their customers as family. The ambience is warm and welcoming; when you walk through the door you immediately feel as though you’ve joined Ashley and Jake in their home.

Jake’s passion for coffee is reflected in his work, pouring latte art for every one of the coffees that goes through his machine (check out his work in their Instagram page) “I love everything coffee, honestly there’s nothing more rewarding than having a customer rave about our coffee.” Of course, with this insatiable passion comes a drive to be the best at what they do; for this reason, Jake and Ashley have opted to run two blends through their matching white San Remo Verona and Compak grinders. Prima Tazza is their staple for their white coffees offering versatility and depth of flavour that cuts through the milk. Mocharoma is the blend of choice for their discerning long black and espresso drinkers with its subtle fruit characteristics and medium body. Coffee isn’t Little Café on Churchill’s only drawcard when it comes to drinks however, their sensational selection of feel-good smoothies bolstered with your choice of greens, protein or immunity boosting goodness is a crowd favourite!

Jake and Ashley like to keep things fresh in the kitchen “Introducing new items to the menu is so much fun! I love keeping our customers engaged with our food!” says Ashley. Style-wise the menu has all the breakfast classics you could want (I personally can’t go past the breakfast burrito!) Ashley loves a good smashed avo but highly recommends the coconut pancakes for anyone with a bit of a sweet tooth. Jake echoes my favourite, recommending the breakfast burrito to anyone who asks. The cakes on display are also mouth-watering, I couldn’t go past the cookies and cream cheesecake (and neither should you!)

Make sure to check out this cute little café next time you’re in Ovingham. Ashley and Jake’s passion is infectious and you’re sure to have a great experience.
