The best places to get your Dimattina fix right now (SA)

The Covid-19 Coronavirus has had an unprecedented impact on the way we live our lives. Physical distancing and isolation restrictions has sadly meant that many cafes and hospitality businesses across Australia have had to close their doors, perhaps permanently. For those that are still operating (in a takeaway only capacity) business has been slow, but many have received a great deal of support from their regular customers and community. These small businesses are an essential part of our society; cafes have long since served as a ‘third space’, meaning a comfortable place that is not home, not work but a retreat from both. In the current climate this third space becomes even more important now that many of us don’t even have a second space to go to. To help reunite people with their favourite coffee, or perhaps introduce them to a new one, we have compiled a list of cafes serving Dimattina coffee that you can still visit (and not stray from current restrictions). These are just a few of the amazing businesses in South Australia serving up Dimattina Coffee. Make sure you get behind them where possible and support our small local businesses.

Seoul Sisters

Just a quick jaunt from the Adelaide Central Markets is this little gem. Seoul Sisters is all about Korean fusion (and they make a mean coffee too). Owners Sam and Chung Jae are ploughing through this crisis like champs and keeping Adelaide supplied with their delectable offerings; takeaway beef cheek bibimbap is definitely a life-saver! Grab a Dimattina coffee while you’re there; with a selection of our classic Prima Tazza and Mocharoma blends, as well as a range of single origins, you can’t go wrong! Check out our previous write-up on Seoul Sisters here.

Little Café on Churchill

These guys love their coffee! Owners Jake and Ashley are passionate about all things customer service and it shows. Little Café on Churchill is a quaint little eatery in Ovingham that serves both our Prima Tazza and Mocharoma blends as well as a great range of breakfast and lunch options. It’s also ideally located for a quick grab and go on the way to the shops. Check out our write-up on these guys here.

Surface Café

If you do your regular shopping at Erindale Shopping Centre in Kensington Gardens make sure you stop by Surface Café. Recently they’ve been putting together some great take home meal options that cater to all tastes including home-style casseroles and meatballs. Don’t forget to grab a quick takeaway of our Prima Tazza blend to round off you trip to the shops!

Melon & Rye

Melon & Rye in Glen Osmond are truly ahead of the game with their takeaway meals. Not only are they offering weekly special dinner boxes, if you’re lucky enough to live within 5km they’ll even deliver! Definitely a bonus in today’s world. In addition to the fresh and tasty meals you can also grab an expertly-made coffee from Demi and the friendly staff. Check them out!

JD Brew

If you find yourself around Newton Central Shopping Centre make sure you set aside some time to visit this little oasis amidst the Covid chaos. Daniel and the team serve up lovingly crafted Prima Tazza all week long as well as a great selection of hearty cabinet food and takeaway meals. Super quick and easy, JD Brew provides that much needed boost to get you through the day. And if you’re feeling like you need that little something extra, why not splurge on one of their gourmet hot dogs; you won’t regret it!

Wholly Belly

If you’re missing the social aspect of visiting your local café; catching up with your favourite barista, running into other regulars, all around good times, then look no further than Wholly Belly in Norwood. These guys have taken it to the next level by offering the whole shebang for a virtual catch up with friends and family. We’re talking DIY pizzas, Paella parties and more. Delivery and pick up options available. Wholly Belly are keeping it fresh and interesting in these strange times; they’re also slinging our Prima Tazza blend all day long so don’t forget your caffeine fix.

There are so many cafes that are doing it tough right now, far too many to feature here. We will be promoting more every day on Instagram so give us a follow @dimattinacoffee for more cafes operating near you.
