Brothers Erick and German de la Roca Garavito are two passionate coffee professionals based out of Acatenango, Guatemala. Both are heavily involved in the quality assurance side of green coffee; Erick is an agronomist and German is a Q-Grader. De La Roca is a passion project for the brothers; during their weekends they plant trees and devise new methods of increasing their coffee quality. Over the years the brothers have replaced all the trees on the farm with the sustainable Typica, Caturra, Bourbon and Catuai varieties and in 2019 began processing their own coffee. Since then the results have been incredible! This honey-processed lot uses minimal amounts of water and takes great care and attention to produce, but the resulting cup is phenomenal. In the cup you can expect to find notes of rockmelon, and lychee with a soft honey finish. The coffee is light and floral as a filter style but also sticky and sweet as espresso; a very versatile cup. We only have very limited supply of De La Roca so get in quick!
