Coconut Espresso Float Recipe
A new recipe to add to your rotation. Cold foam is all the rage, and for good reason. It's silky and adds a textured layer to cold brew or long blacks. If you're into the coconut and coffee flavour combo, this will be right up your alley.
What you need:
- 300ml Coconut water
- 10ml Vanilla syrup (or simple syrup)
- 50ml Thickened cream
- 50ml Coconut milk
- 2 Espresso shots
- Whisk or hand mixer
Instructions:
- Fill glass with ice. Pour over coconut water and add vanilla syrup.
- Pull 2 fresh espresso shots and gently pour over the coconut water to create a float layer.
- Combine thickened cream and coconut milk in a separate bowl. Whisk or mix into a cold foam (thick, but still pourable).
- Spoon or pour coconut cold foam on top.
