We’re thrilled to welcome back a coffee that won many hearts last year: the coveted “Las Flores” microlot from Finca Santa Isabel. Located in the lush Alta Verapaz region, Finca Santa Isabel has been under the stewardship of the Valdes family for five generations, spanning 300 hectares of fertile Guatemalan land.
Their dedication to quality remains unwavering, as they meticulously handpick only the ripest cherries. This selective harvesting, done over several rounds to ensure peak ripeness, is a testament to their commitment. Such careful attention results in exceptional day lots, with "Las Flores" standing out as the pinnacle of these efforts.
This year, "Las Flores" dazzles with its deep and intense flavour profile. Expect a cup rich with the nuanced sweetness of dried fig, the lush tartness of rhubarb, and a robust plum body. Its versatility shines, making it a superb companion to milk, enhancing the complexities of its taste.
